Privacy Policy
Effective: July 2026
The onyu.com website is operated, and personal data controlled, by ONYU Clothing s.r.o., Company ID (IČO) 23182423, registered office Silurská 1225/2, Hlubočepy, 152 00 Prague 5, Czech Republic, entered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, file no. C 422834. To run this website and communicate with you, we process some personal data. Processing is governed mainly by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
What data we process and why
This website presents the ONYU brand. There is no shopping cart or order form here — the purchase itself takes place in the BERGAM shops, which are separate data controllers with their own processing policies.
When you contact us by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, message content) in order to handle your enquiry or discuss a partnership. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to you, or steps taken prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR).
Newsletter
If you subscribe to ONYU news, we process your email address to send you commercial communications. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email or writing to [email protected].
How long we keep data
We keep email correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards; data for sending news until you withdraw consent.
Who has access to the data
Your data stays with us. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) helps run the website, and — where newsletters are sent — an email-marketing tool (Leadhub); these processors act on the basis of a contract and our instructions. Purchases take place in the BERGAM shops, which are a separate controller.
We process data within the European Union, or with providers ensuring an adequate level of protection (e.g. under Standard Contractual Clauses).
Automated decision-making and DPO
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer. We do not carry out any automated decision-making or profiling.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to rectify or erase it, to restrict processing, to data portability, and to object. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (in the Czech Republic: Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.gov.cz).
